Blue & Brown Baby Shower

This Saturday, my family and friends threw the Huffmans a GREAT blue and brown baby shower! Everything was decorated soooooo cute! The cake was cute and yummy! The food was very scruptious! The games were fun! The gifts were sooooo helpful and great! I felt very blessed and loved to have so many people come and celebrate Connor's soon to be arrival! We had a mexican buffet, which has been my food of choice since being pregnant :) As soon as I ate, Connor started moving around. Then we played some cute and creative games that were fun. Then I opened all the gifts, which made me feel more at ease since we had nothing before the shower :) We got some necessities like the monitors, bottles, diapers, crib sheets, changing pad cover, swing, play mat, pack and play, and much more. Ben was VERY excited we got the Baby Bjorn, so he can carry Connor around! We also received tons of clothes, so he should be a very well dressed little boy! After the gifts, we ate the cake. This was the BEST cake I have ever eaten!!! Then we wrapped it up, and Ben, Donny, and Dad came to help load up the trucks.

Fabulous Frazier Shower

My girls from work threw me and Connor a GREAT baby shower!!! The cake was adorable, the decorations were crafty and cute, and the gifts were awesome! A few of my friends from work invited our school to Hickory Hollow to celebrate Connor coming soon. It was a great time, and I felt very lucky to have such great friends.

Chubby Cheeks!!!

32 Weeks

We went to the doctor today for an ultrasound and a check-up. We were so lucky he cooperated, and we got some good 3D pictures of his cute face. He is 4 1/2 pounds right now and on schedule for length. She said his head is on the wide side, so I guess he gets that from his Mom, haha. His heart, brain, kidneys, head, bones, etc. all looked great! She also showed us that he has some hair already, so we were excited about that. His head is down already, so they said that is good and he should stay that way until birth. My blood pressure, weight, and urine were all good. My belly and Connor are still measuring a little over a week ahead, but my due date is still July 5th. I LOVED seeing the 3D pictures of his face, and we did get teary. It is still hard to tell who he looks like now, since the cord kept smashing his nose in all the pictures. But he has big cheeks that I can't wait to kiss. I will be 32 weeks tomorrow, and everything is going great! Here are some pictures!

Happy About Our Home!!!

We went by our home last night to see the progress since last weekend, and we were very happy!!! So much has been done. Last time we went, we noticed that they had placed our patio in the incorrect spot, so we talked with our lady. She apologized and offered to add more concrete to make a larger patio :) We did not argue and Ben was VERY excited that they messed up, haha. They have textured all the walls, put in all the doors, put in the trim, installed the kitchen cabinets, installed bathroom cabinets, put in tile in showers, and painted the hardy outside. It is starting to look like our home, and we cannot wait to move in at then end of the month. Alexis and Marcus came over Thursday night to help us start packing the apartment. I ordered pizza for us as we worked the evening away. Alexis and I did most of the kitchen and Marcus and Ben took down everything off the walls and decorations to wrap up. I feel a little better now that we have some done. Now to finish up here and start my classroom.

This Friday after work, we drove to Austin to visit our friends Shannon and Jason and their baby girl, Jordan. On the way up, we stopped by our house to see all the new additions. It is coming along GREAT! Then we headed to Austin, and I only had to stop twice to pee :) Jordan is 5 weeks old now, and she is super cute! I got to see her hold her head up, sneeze, hiccup, smile, cuddle, sleep, and much more. She is just so sweet and cute! It was also great seeing our friends and getting some quality time with them. We watched the UFC fights Saturday night, ate great food, and just hung out all weekend. It was nice and relaxing. Can't wait for Connor to get here, so they can play together. On the way home today, we had to stop by the house again. All the brick was up, the drywall was up, it was mostly all taped and floated, and the patio was poured. So happy that everything is coming along nicely. We close and move in May 27th, and we cannot wait!!!
