Doctor Visit

I had a doctor's appointment today, and everything went good. I got to hear the heartbeat, so that was exciting! They said it sounded "nice and strong". The nurse thought it was funny when I said, "So it is still in there?" I knew it was, but I guess since I do not feel it yet, it doesn't seem as real. Also, I had an exam today (not so much fun) and blood taken (really not so fun). If anybody knows me, you know that I HATE needles. I am proud of myself, I got my flu shot yesterday and blood taken today without freaking out too bad, haha. I also found out that I lost 2 pounds this time. She said not to worry about it because most people lose weight the first time due to getting sick or feeling gross. 

The most exciting part about today was making my next appointment. They scheduled me to come back on January 24th to find out if our baby is Baby Girl or Baby Boy Huffman!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!! We are soooooo excited! Can't wait!

Parker is Here!!!

My cousin, Ashley, and her husband, Ryan, welcomed their baby girl on December 21, 2010. Her name is Parker Lynn Wilson, and she is gorgeous! I can't wait for our babies to grow up together like Ashley and I did. Here are a few pics from the day she was born. Love her!

FIRST ULTRASOUND!!!

The picture above is the measurement picture. He/ she is about 2 1/2 inches long right now. You can see the hand in front of the face, its foot, head, and chest. 

This is my favorite picture! This is when I coughed, and he/ she opened its mouth and started bucking around, kicking its legs, and flailing its arms.

It was so AMAZING today to see our little baby! It made it more REAL for us today. It was GREAT to see him/ her jumping and moving around. We saw and heard the heartbeat, and it was awesome. The heartbeat was 162, which they said was good. They said everything looked good, and at our next ultrasound in about 7-10 weeks we will find out the sex. Can't wait! I love the pictures, and we cannot wait to frame them! 

First Blog Ever!

I'm am not the most technologically advanced person and I have never posted or written a blog, so I think I did pretty good for the first time. :) I decided to make a blog as a universal way to keep everyone updated on all our happenings lately.
Newlywed life is great, and really about the same as before, haha. About 3 months after we were married, we got a GREAT surprise! We are expecting a Little Huffman!!! I am 9 weeks along today, and our expected due date is July 9, 2011! We are very excited and happy to have a Lil' Huffman coming this summer. I have been very sick almost everyday, but I have been told that it will pass and get much better. (Can't wait for that part, haha.) We go for our first ultrasound on December 14th, so we are very excited for that. Now we are about to start decorating the house for Christmas (my favorite holiday). It is crazy to think next Christmas we will have a little one!
